Lobster Supper

Our annual kick off the season with the last of the lobsters event. Sitting at 5:00, 6:00 and 7:00.PM For reservations please call 902.693.2112 Don't miss this truly Maritime experience! Tickets must be purchased in advance and are $30.00

War Memorabilia Display

July 20, 10 AM-3 PM

Dave Crocker from the Atlantic Canadian Red Ensign History Association presents a display honoring our wartime past and its soldiers; the display showcases uniforms, medals, rations, and photos. Local residents are also encouraged to share their stories with our summer staff as they compile a collection of oral histories.

Live History Show

August 17, 2 PM, 4 PM and 6:30 PM. Space is limited Reservations required.

Enjoy an unique experience of theatre showcasing our local LaHave history. Something isn't right here. There is a card in the display case, but no item behind it. There are antiques in the incorrect place; and artifacts that are standing wrong side up. Clearly, the venue needs your help. As an invited curator you must help discover the mystery behind these disturbances as different exhibits come to life. $20/ticket for one hour performance. Dessert & coffee following. Call the museum at 688-1632 to purchase tickets or for reservations.

Topic :: The Famous Messamouet: Chief at LaHave. A  presentation about the great chief who Canadian and  American historians (Mi'kmaq, English and French) have called "the great" trader, navigator, diplomat, warrior, and visionary.
