Every third Tuesday from April to September at 6:30PM

Lobster Supper
Our Lobster Supper is Sunday, May 30 at 5:00, 5:30 or 6:30. Tickets are $25.00 for 1 ½ lb lobster, homemade potato salad, coleslaw, coffee or tea and dessert. It is well attended every year. We recommend reserving your ticket at least a week ahead of the event. Call Donna at 902-688-1970 to purchase dinner tickets or email dbm@eastlink.ca

Volunteer Appreciation Dinner
An evening to honour the many devoted members of the Lunenburg Historical Society who work to make our museum a success.

Glimpses: An Historical Production
July 7, 2010, 7:00pm
We are extremely lucky to offer this wonderful experience at Fort Point this summer. July 7th is the date, 7 pm is the time, and $10 is the cost. Glimpses is a series of vignettes depicting significant and interesting events in the history of this area, from the landing of the first settlers to the tragic fire which destroyed St. John's Anglican Church in Lunenburg earlier this decade.

Spinners
The spinners will be spinning this summer, every other Thursday from noon to 3, starting June 10. We're optimistic that we'll harvest our very own flax in late summer..

Home Tour
Saturday, July 17, 2010. We have six wonderful houses for you to see this year. Some are old and some are not so old and they are houses you've driven past many times and wondered what they are like inside. The houses will be open from 10 am to 5 pm, Saturday, July 17. Refreshments will be served all day at the Fort Point Museum. Tickets are $20 and will be on sale at the museum and at various locations (TBD) so watch for the posters.

Gregg Tracey Art Exhibit.
August 17 to September 6, 2010. "Making art is a daily adventure. Working in a variety of media allows me to express in many ways the subjects I explore. Art is, for me, an intuitive journey. Its a way of discovering my inner voice--what I have to offer. I strive to live life and art in the same breath...to live my life as a creative act each day." Gregg Tracey

Acadian Mi'kmaq Festival
August 21, 2010
Everyone not only Acadian and Mikmaq is invited to Fort Point on Saturday, August 21. There will be lots to see and do, great food and wonderful music.

LaHave River Folk Festival
September 5, 2010, 1 pm to 10 pm. Tickets $20 for the day. A variety of foods will be served from 1 pm to 7 pm. Darren Arsenault has worked hard to bring us fabulous entertainment again this year. Enjoy the sounds of returning favorites, "The Hupman Brothers", "T@B" and Jamie Junger, as well as new talent like Heather Kelday. Click here to see schedule Schedule
